When will the competition run (the “Competition Period”)?	The competition starts on Monday 2 June 2025 at 00.01 am Sydney time and closes on Sunday 29 June 2025 at 11.59 pm Sydney time.
How will the winner and runners up be chosen?	Chance to win prize (this competition is a game of chance) 4 Winners will be picked at random through computerised random draw. Should winners choose to not accept the Prize, the prize will be awarded. There will be a redraw.
What is the maximum number of entries per Entrant (the “Maximum Number of Entries”)?	There is no maximum number of entries for each entrant. A cardholder can enter multiple times. Every time a cardholder loads or reloads a minimum of $100AUD equivalent in foreign currency they will receive an entry into the drawer.  A cardholder can only win one prize (except SA).
What is the value of each prize?	There are 4 prizes, and each prize is to the maximum of $10,000 AUD and therefore total prize pool is up to $40,000 AUD.
What are the details of each prize (the “Prize”)?	There are four (4) Prize/s to be won. Each winner will receive one $10,000 AUD Helloworld Gift Voucher. Winner must agree to the Helloworld Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions below.
Do any special conditions need to be met for the winner to accept the prize?	In accepting the Prize, a Winner is deemed to accept the terms and conditions of this competition, together with the terms and conditions of the Prize, if any (see above).  The Winner must hold an active Cash Passport.
How are prizes to be claimed?	The Helloworld Gift Voucher will be digital, and will be emailed to the winner’s registered Cash Passport Platinum Mastercard email address. The Gift Voucher will be issued with a voucher number. For a Gift Voucher to be redeemed, the customer must provide the associated unique voucher number at time of redemption.
What is the total value of all prizes?	Minimum Prize pool of $10,000 AUD per Prize. Maximum of $10,000 AUD per Prize. There are a total of four (4) Prizes, and the total value of all Prizes is up to $40,000 AUD.

Conditions of Entry

 

 

1. These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Schedule. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
2. Entry is open to residents of the Applicable State/s who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted.
3. The competition will be run during the Competition Period.
4. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the Prize at the time set by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit that part. Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value. If a Prize is unavailable, Promoter will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
5. To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method, noting any Entry Details, and submit their entries during the Competition Period. Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
6. All valid entries received during the Competition Period will be entered into the draw and the winner will be drawn at the Draw Place, Date and Time listed in the Schedule. Where there is a multiple Number of Draws, the first valid entry randomly drawn will win the first Prize and subsequent Prizes will be drawn in descending order of value.
7. If any Prize remains unclaimed 3 months after the original draw, an unclaimed draw prize will be held at the same Draw Place and Time as the original draw on the Unclaimed Draw Date. Where a Prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new winner will receive a Prize as determined by the Promoter of equal or higher value, subject to State regulation.
8. In consideration for awarding a Prize to a winner, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment.
9. Winners will be notified on the Notification Date by the Notification Method described in the Schedule and their names published by the Publication Method and on the Publication Date.
10. Promoter may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
11. Promoter does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of the Promoter and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
12. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Promoter has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into Promoter’s database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid. Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, Promoter may subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in Promoter’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of Promoter or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
14. Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
15. Promoter accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.
16. The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter, and may be disclosed to its agents, solely to conduct the competition and distribute the Prize. 17. The Promotion and these Conditions of Entry will be governed by the law of the State or Territory in which the Promoter ordinarily resides. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of that State or Territory in connection with disputes concerning the Promotion.
18. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation
19. Winner must also agree to the following Helloworld Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions;

1. Gift Vouchers are redeemable at any Helloworld Travel retail agent located within Australia.
2. Unless otherwise stated on the Gift Voucher, Gift Vouchers are valid for use within 3 years from the date of issue.
3. Gift Vouchers will be issued with a voucher number. For a Gift Voucher to be redeemed, the customer must provide the associated unique voucher number at time of redemption. If a voucher number cannot be provided, the Gift Voucher will not be able to be redeemed.
4. Gift Vouchers may only be applied up to the maximum value loaded onto the Gift Voucher which is unspent at the time of use. Where the cost of purchase exceeds the available balance of the Gift Voucher, the excess amount must be paid by another payment method.
5. Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.
6. Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases but will not be refunded or credited when the Gift Voucher expires.
7. Gift Vouchers cannot be reloaded.
8. Gift Vouchers may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, other Gift Vouchers, traveller's cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency.
9. Gift Vouchers may not, without the prior written consent of Helloworld Travel Limited, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion, or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a Gift Voucher is sold or used in breach of this condition, Helloworld Travel Limited may in its absolute and sole discretion cancel or render invalid the Gift Voucher without a refund and the Gift Voucher holder may be refused redemption of the Gift Voucher. Helloworld Travel Limited will take all reasonable steps to notify you of Helloworld Travel Limited’s intention to cancel or render invalid a Gift Voucher within a reasonable time before cancelling or rendering invalid the Gift Voucher.
10. Helloworld Travel Limited may cancel or render invalid any Gift Voucher (including any available balance) which Helloworld Travel Limited determines in its absolute and sole discretion was purchased at any time and in any way (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites) by fraudulent means. Helloworld Travel Limited may cancel any bookings made using any fraudulent Gift Voucher which may include any non-refundable amounts. Helloworld Travel Limited will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you if you purchase or attempt to redeem any fraudulent Gift Voucher. You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to redeem any available balance on any fraudulent Gift Voucher and that Helloworld Travel Limited will not be obliged to hold such balance on file for you or otherwise redeem or exchange that Gift Voucher.
11. You are responsible for the use and security of your Gift Voucher and PIN number. Lost or stolen Gift Vouchers may not be replaced or refunded. Lost or stolen PIN numbers cannot be reissued or replaced. You are liable for all transactions on your Gift Voucher except those caused by fraud or negligence by Helloworld Travel Limited or its employees.
12. Defaced, mutilated, or altered Gift Vouchers may not be accepted, replaced, or refunded.
13. Gift Vouchers may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts.
14. Personal information collected in relation to your Gift Voucher will be handled in accordance with Helloworld Travel Limited 's Privacy Policy which is available at policies.helloworldlimited.com.au/privacy-policy
15. The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to these terms and conditions and any disputes arising in relation to them.
16. Questions or problems relating to Gift Vouchers should be directed to Helloworld Travel Limited 's Gift Vouchers Team via email giftcards@helloworld.com.au.
